Funeral Consumers Alliance of Oregon (Oregon Memorial Association)

Funeral Consumers Alliance of Oregon (FCAO) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers find dignified, meaningful and affordable end of life services. We help individuals and families avoid the confusion and sales pressure often associated with funeral arrangements. A low one-time membership fee entitles you to discounted prices at our contracted funeral homes and mortuaries.

Funeral Consumers Alliance of Oregon is affiliated with The Funeral Consumers Alliance, a national organization representing state level groups. We have no ties to the funeral industry except for organizations listed as “Mortuaries” who have agreed to provide our members with reasonably priced arrangements.

FCAO provides free educational materials, brochures and information about funeral choices and is available to make brief presentations at meetings or to provide full length workshops on end-of-life planning. We welcome opportunities to provide speakers at small or large groups (churches, civic groups, retirement homes, hospice, etc.) increasing public awareness of funeral options. Our Speakers Bureau will send a representative to make a presentation and answer questions. Contact Speakers Bureau.

Our membership is open to residents of Oregon. (Washington state is served by Peoples Memorial Association.) To find an FCA affiliate in other areas of the USA please look at the national FCA Affiliates Listing.
